Felon Peter Navarro is a Fuckhead

Felon Peter Navarro is constantly threatening Canada. Sometimes in the past has had to walk it back but knows he can get pardons for his questionable and illegal behaviour. The man sings for his supper and boy does he sing.

In his latest fuckhead outburst, he says Canada will pay dearly for trying to speak to other elected officials to change minds in the America. He calls this election interference. This bullying, unhinged behaviour from this criminal receives less notice that almost anyone in the administration. He has an audience of one. Donald Trump. He has been pardoned once and is angling for another.

It is very probable that after the midterms, the exodus of Republicans who survive will accelerate. People like Navarro who have been there two terms will likely stay. He has no other use and only gets the occasional interview although much of the media ignores his stupid bombast.

It is no wonder that Carney is largely ignoring him and others. He actually laughs when questioned about the blowhards now. Better to wait till mid-term elections are done and see what Congress and some states are like after. We'll see have Trump to deal with but Congress might take back a lot of it's constitutional powers. It might not change things right away and there may be blowback as if we caused the problems.

The course of action is to continue to seek out trade partners and push through projects. The Trudeau era of slow walking or outright no responses just won't cut it if there is double digit unemployment. It was easier to do that when inflation was slow and employment high. That isn't the case now. Now, it is better just to infuriate Navarro by seeking out rational actors internationally.
