There is little doubt that Sears is hurting Polo Park's standings although sales did increase in the year overall in the mall. If Sears does decide to quit Polo Park, it is expected sales will leap in Winnipeg's biggest shopping area.

No West Edmonton Mall or does that it get rated on a different scale?
ReplyDeleteIt did not make the top 25 in sales in Canada.
ReplyDeleteSales per square foot?
ReplyDeleteIt's sales per square foot - not sales
ReplyDeleteYes. It is sales per square foot which is industry standard for measuring store performance. West Edmonton Mall has only a part of it that has high sales and the rest of the mall falls below the top 25.
ReplyDeletePolo Park is very likely dragged down by Sears and might be higher with a different retailer or retailers in that 300,000 square foot space.
