I worked at a little family run Electronics sales & repair store called Just Electronics from 1984 until 1989. The owners Marcel and his son Kevin finally decided in late 1989 that there was not enough business and rent was just too high to continue. This was also the very beginning of the big box electronic stores entry into the Wpg market..."future shop"<br />Back in the 80s, FPM was a nicely kept little mall, but just a little too quiet for most business owners to stay forever...<br />Some of the stores i remember: Just Electronics(where I worked), Goligers Travel, A&A records, a Picture Frame Store, a couple independent clothing stores, & of course K-Mart on the East end and Dominion(before Safeway) on the West end. The enclosed mall was nice and bright after an installation of new skylights approx 1986-87.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
